Sunt unul dintre cei ce au prins Windows de la versiunea 3.0. Curatam hdd-ul pentru inca 2-3 mega de spatiu ca sa pot rula win.com si sa aiba loc de swap. Trecerea la Windows 3.11 a fost o nebunie: networking (workgroups), rezolutii de efect (800×600 cu 16 culori), DOS prompt. O nebunie! 🙂

Nostalgie pentru zecile de instalari si reinstalari de pe dischete de 3,5′ (parca vreo 16 la numar) pentru Windows si Word for Windows (vreo 30 de dischete?). Norton Commander (nc) si DOS Navigator (dn) deveneau deja istorie datorita file manager-ului (viitorul Explorer) si aparatiei Internet Explorer 3, iar documentele WordStar erau deja importabile (format text :P) de Word for Windows. Mai spun de colegi care ma rugau sa-i bag in Windows pentru a juca Solitaire sau Minesweeper?
